Date: 24th October 2019

Our Pathway 1 horticulture group recently took part in our Autumn Hanging Basket Competition 2019.

Following the inclusive skills brief, our students carefully filled their baskets with soil and planted the flowers required in a beautiful arrangement.

Our Principal Tracey judged the baskets using the set criteria marking and it was a very close call!

1st Place: ER, 28/30
Joint 2nd Place: SS & SF, 27/30
3rd Place: LA, 26/30

We're delighted with all their hard work, and all 4 students have achieved their Gold certificate.

Inclusive Skills competitions are a great method of learning, teaching students how to follow a brief and honing their skills in a fun environment.
