Meet our Senior Management Team

Tracey Forman - Principal

Tracey Forman 

Attends all Trustee sub-committee meetings

A little about Tracey:

Tracey became the Principal of Homefield in October 2018, after having worked in a number of senior roles in further education. Originally from London, Tracey achieved a degree in Social Science before starting her career in HR with 5 years in retail before moving to the National Union of Students where she eventually became a Director with responsibility for organising conferences and events, HR and training. In 2004 she became a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and started to teach part time. In 2011 she obtained her Certificate in Education and moved from Human Resources to Student Services eventually becoming Director of Student Services for North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College. Tracey is currently studying for a Masters Degree in Special Educational Needs and Inclusion at the University of Birmingham.

Vic Myko - Head of Quality & Curriculum

A little about Vic:

Vic’s teaching career began 20 years ago working at a psychiatric unit in Worcestershire and it was then that she first realised that she wanted to work in specialist education. Vic has worked at Homefield College for over 15 years and has been supported to develop her professional career which has included her gaining a Bachelor of Philosophy Degree at University Birmingham in special educational needs - Autism. She has also been an active member of the East Midland’s Peer Review Development group for over 10 years, enabling her to further develop her skills and knowledge through working with other specialist colleges. Vic is also a governor at the RNIB Loughborough College and a director for the charity Karten Network, who improve the quality of life and independence of adults with disabilities through the utilisation of technology.

As Head of Curriculum & Quality, Vic looks after curriculum development, the quality of our education provision, our work experience provision and our enterprises. 

Sarah Freeman - Head of Care & Support

As Head of Care Services & Support, Sarah oversees our long term residential and supported living services, our Day Services offering and the therapies and inclusion support we provide. She is also our Designated Safeguarding Lead.

Shaun Whiting - Head of Business & Finance

As Head of Finance & Business Services, Shaun is responsible for the finance and information services, our premises and facilities, and our health and safety. 

Susie Pickering - Head of HR

Susie Pickering

A little about Susie:

Susie’s HR career began over 30 years ago starting in manufacturing and then moving into retail, and most recently into further education - this has enabled Susie to work both in private and public sector organisations. Having worked in HR for many years and escalating in position, Susie decided to undertake her HR degree at De Montfort University in Leicester, gaining this in 2009. This allowed her to increase her knowledge and vast experience across all aspects of human resources. With a passion to ensure that all staff encounter the best possible work life balance and are happy in their working environment, Susie is actively seen around all site locations engaging with staff on a regular basis. 

As Head of HR, Susie takes care of our employee relations, recruitment and selection, and employee welfare, as well as overseeing staff training, development and logistics.
