Are you looking for an opportunity in a changing, supportive and challenging environment?

Homefield College is a relatively small Independent Specialist College and a charity, who provides provision for adults 

(16 years and upwards) with a range of learning difficulties.  

We have a main college site, café, internet café, print shop and several small residential and supported living residencies that require motivated staff to enable our students and residents to achieve their aims and objectives.

We have the following permanent positions:

TUTOR

Overall purpose of the job -

Delivering teaching, learning and assessment that is outstanding, with a commitment to enable all students to achieve highly. Approaches will be exciting and innovative, that capture students interests and overcome barriers to ensure all are enthused to and be able to achieve.

The ideal candidate will be able to teach a variety of programmes throughout the College’s curriculum areas and locations, yet have a main area of expertise in one of the following -

- IT tutor ( e.g. they will need a level 3+ IT qual)

- Construction/woodwork

- SEN tutor general

- Information Advice and Guidance tutor

The above positions are subject to an enhanced DBS checks.

Students are highly effective as ambassadors for people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities. Conduct during their regular interaction with members of the public in community venues is exemplary.
