We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Marketing & Events Officer to join our Communications, Marketing & Engagement team. You will lead and deliver marketing activity and events that increase brand awareness, engagement and recruitment for Homefield and our brands/services.

We’re looking for a proactive and curious thinker with excellent communication skills and proven experience in delivering integrated marketing campaigns. You will be highly proficient in managing digital platforms and using modern digital tools to improve effectiveness. You’ll bring a genuine passion for making a difference to the people we support, ensuring our approach remains fresh, competitive and successful.

In this varied role, you will lead the planning and delivery of a diverse events calendar, including Open Days, commercial stalls, fundraising galas and community fairs. You will manage our website content and user journeys, oversee the production of branded physical materials and use data insights to evaluate campaign success.

Marketing & Events Officer

Overall Purpose

To lead and deliver marketing activity and events that increase awareness, engagement, recruitment and reputation for Homefield and our brands/services, in line with our values of Equality, Empowerment, Respect and Sustainability.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and rollout of marketing plans across digital and offline channels to meet recruitment and engagement targets, including overseeing commercial social media channels.
  • Manage website content, layout and landing pages, ensuring a seamless user journey that converts visitors into enquiries.
  • Lead the planning, communication, bookings and delivery of a diverse events calendar (open days, commercial stalls, workshops, galas etc), attending to represent Homefield as needed.
  • Oversee the production of physical marketing items, signage and merchandise, ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
  • Manage search engine optimisation and lead-tracking systems (CRM), improving visibility and number of enquiries.
  • Develop audience engagement across email campaigns, social media and paid advertising.
  • Evaluate the success of campaigns and events using data, providing insights for future improvements.
  • Ensure all marketing content meets accessibility standards and follows legal and ethical requirements.
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal teams, external venues and suppliers.
  • Keep up to date with marketing trends and other organisations to ensure our approach remains fresh, competitive and successful.
