Your Opportunity

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Job Coach – Melton Mowbray Project Lead.

We are at the start of an exciting project with two large employers in the Melton Mowbray area. The project is for 1 year initially but with an opportunity to extend if successful. We are looking for someone who can multitask, solve problems, build relationships and secure positive outcomes for students on this flagship programme. You will have a profound impact on the lives of young people with learning disabilities and the host businesses who are committed to equality, diversity and inclusion. You will have access to free professional development created by DFN Project Search.

You’ll contribute to the delivery of the organisational mission through the design, delivery and assessment of a Supported Internship programme which enables an educational experience, prepares students for adulthood and is in accordance with our organisational values.

This role is based in a remote location in Melton Mowbray so a driving licence and access to a vehicle are a requirement. The role is onsite 5 days a week, but we would consider term time plus 2 weeks working pattern. There would be an expectation to attend the college main site for meetings/staff development

You should hold a relevant Level 3 qualification and Level 2 in English and Maths, however training opportunities can be offered for the right candidate.  Experience of working within various employment sectors or with young adults with learning disabilities is essential, as is experience of supporting/training others in the workplace. We would love to hear from you if you feel that you have the qualities that we require in this role.

Informal discussions about the role are welcomed, please e-mail our HR team in the first instance.
