We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Marketing & Schools Engagement Officer to join our Communications, Marketing & Engagement team. You will lead high‑impact, insight‑led marketing activity across Homefield, with a particular focus on education marketing and building strong, positive relationships with schools and education professionals.

We’re looking for someone with excellent communication skills, proven experience delivering integrated marketing campaigns and the confidence to engage with prospective students, their families and schools. You’ll bring a genuine passion for connecting people, strengthening partnerships and ensuring Homefield is visible, trusted and well‑understood.

In this varied role, you will coordinate school engagement activity, support student recruitment events, develop compelling content and deliver campaigns that reflect our autism‑specialist positioning and values. You’ll use insights to shape activity, celebrate achievements and contribute to strategic projects that enhance our reputation and impact.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys relationship‑building, creative problem‑solving and purposeful marketing that makes a tangible difference to young people and their families.

Marketing & Schools Engagement Officer

Overall Purpose 

To plan and deliver high-impact, insight-led marketing across Homefield, with a primary focus on education marketing and building strong relationships with schools, in line with our values of Equality, Empowerment, Respect and Sustainability. 

Role responsibilities: 

 

  • Lead marketing and school engagement to support student recruitment:
    • Build positive, long-term relationships with schools, SENCOs, MATs, careers leads and local authorities. 
    • Work closely with Admissions and Curriculum to organise and facilitate school marketing and student recruitment events, including Open Days, school visits and taster days. 
    • Coordinate direct marketing to feeder schools and education professionals, ensuring they have the right materials to signpost Homefield to prospective students and families. 
    • Represent Homefield at relevant events, meetings and forums, ensuring we are visible, trusted and wellunderstood. 

 

  • Develop insight-led campaigns across college, charity and commercial areas:
    • Deliver marketing and communications campaigns that support organisational priorities, increase engagement with college enterprises and promote additional services/products.  
    • Ensure campaigns reflect Homefield’s autism-specialist positioning and values.  
    • Maintain accurate records and produce clear reports on campaign performance, using insights to improve future activity. 

 

  • Communicate our purpose and evidence impact through compelling, valuesled content:
    • Coordinate marketing and school engagement materials such as presentations, newsletters, flyers, digital content and enterprise promotions. 
    • Compile stories, case studies and updates that celebrate progression and achievements. 
    • Support the social media calendar with a planned, purposeful and proactive approach. 

 

  • Contribute to the development of the communications, marketing and engagement function:
    • Support strategic projects that strengthen Homefield’s expertise, reputation and presence. 
    • Collaborate with teams across the organisation to avoid silo working and ensure consistent, joinedup communication. 
    • Explore creative and innovative ideas that support ongoing development and improve existing ways of working.
