Understanding the “Enchanted Forest” Theme
Your Guide to Dressing Up for the Graduation and Summer Party.
Hey! I’m Jess and I’m currently a Pathway 3 student at Homefield College. I’m on work experience with the Marketing, Communications & Events team.
I hear you might need some help with understanding the Summer Party’s theme ‘Enchanted Forest’. Below you’ll find outfit ideas for all gender presentations as well as a defined definition of the theme so you can understand it better!
What is an Enchanted Forest?
An enchanted forest is a mystical woodland where supernatural events occur. In stories and folklore, this type of forest is often cast as a place with extraordinary properties, such as talking animals, hidden creatures or magical spells.
The forest may be seen as a place of wonder and adventure, where the ordinary rules of the real world do not apply. The enchanted forest typically plays a large role in fantasy stories, serving as a backdrop for magical events or quests.
Think about books from when you were a kid – like Red Riding Hood, Hansel & Gretel, Robin Hood, or even a children’s beloved Disney character Winnie the Pooh! Each of these has elements of fantasy and woodland charm that fit the theme.
What should you wear?
Whether you’re dressing up or keeping it casual, there are lots of ways to take part in the theme. Here is some outfit inspiration for you all!
