Building Team Spirit Beyond the Classroom

Our students recently enjoyed an incredible opportunity following their weekly football training with Leicester City Football Club’s community programme. Their hard work and enthusiasm over the term paid off with a truly one-of-a-kind matchday experience at the King Power Stadium.

Who Took Part?

The students in attendance were Leo J, Samuel H, Jacob C, Isher B, Daniel P, Harvey M and Oliver R. They were supported by our dedicated staff members: Tracey F, Sophie K and Poppy B.

Highlights of the Day

The students were completely star-struck by the atmosphere. Even though Isher and Oliver were unexpectedly soaked by the pitch sprinklers, spirits didn’t falter and everyone loved spending time each other outside of lessons!

The only downside? The final score! However, even a tough result couldn’t take away from what was an unforgettable day out.

A special mention must go to Jacob, who managed to convince Tracey to get a dartboard for the college – an impressive achievement within itself!

A Big Thank You

We would like to take a moment to thank James Walker at Leicester City for making this wonderful opportunity possible. Our students had a fantastic time and are already wishing it was the next season.
