Ethan’s Story: “I never had someone tell me I am normal, good or clever”

Hi, my name is Ethan and I have Autism and a rare condition called DAMP. DAMP stands for Deficits in Attention, Motor Control and Perception.

I was diagnosed in 2008 with DAMP after doctors ran some tests about my hyperactive behaviour.

National Careers Week (NCW) is an annual celebration of careers guidance for young people preparing for adulthood and this year took place on 7th – 12th March.

Pathway 3 students are always looking for ways to enhance their employability skills in lessons whilst having fun. The Sport and Life Skills groups merged to take on a murder mystery around Ashby-De-La-Zouch and the following week an orienteering challenge around the Outwoods in Loughborough
