National Careers Week (NCW) is an annual celebration of careers guidance for young people preparing for adulthood and this year took place on 7th – 12th March.

Hi! I’m Finola, a first-year student at Homefield diagnosed with social anxiety, so I know exactly what it’s like to feel anxious over things that everybody else wouldn’t even find scary! I’m writing this blog post for you all to help shed some light on a topic that’s often avoided or seen as shameful to talk openly about – anxiety.

Six students are campaigning to become Homefield’s Student Council President. Having made a campaign video and poster, candidates are rallying support ready for the voting period.

Each year we run a Christmas Card Competition amongst our student cohort. This year the competition was particularly strong with over 25 entries, and so we narrowed down to 5 winning designs to be produced for sale and an additional design for the corporate Christmas card.
