Keeping Safe this Festive Period

Last week we got our Strictly on for Children in Need, showcasing our best dance moves and sparkly outfits whilst raising money for this worthy cause.

Monday 15th November – Friday 19th November was our Road Safety Focus Week where we turned our learning attention towards staying safe when out in the community near roads.

It’s Trustees’ Week 2021, an annual event showcasing the great work volunteer trustees do. We caught up with two of our current Trustees – Jane Parr & David Jackson – to find out more about them and their vital role in helping shape the future of Homefield.

Tuesday 25th – Friday 29th October was our Health & Safety Focus Week, where our students and residents learnt all about keeping safe at college, at home, in the work place and out in the community.

Each year we run a Christmas Card Competition amongst our student cohort. This year the competition was particularly strong with over 25 entries, and so we narrowed down to 5 winning designs to be produced for sale and an additional design for the corporate Christmas card.

After 10 years on Loughborough’s busy high street, it’s time for us to close our doors to our internet cafe and print shop Sip & Surf permanently.
