Dr Steven Spence

I am a true believer in the power of education, and I am pleased to say having worked in the education sector for nearly twenty years that I have witnessed this on a first-hand basis on many occasions.

I have held senior curriculum roles in the Further Education (FE) sector, and I am currently the Assistant Principal for Quality, Teaching, Learning and Innovation at The Sheffield College.

I hope to support Homefield College in the role as trustee by offering support and a wealth of knowledge and experience of curriculum design and delivery.

I am confident this support and challenge will help the leadership team make strong decisions for the benefit of all students now and in the future, supporting the students at Homefield College to achieve their aspirations.

Why did I become a Trustee?

I am delighted to be a Trustee at Homefield College and hope to positively influence the student experience now and in the future.

I was delighted when this opportunity arose, as it is a College I know well, my wife was actually the Speach Therapist at Homefield many years ago, and I know the impact the College has on the students it serves.
