Leaving school or college, or transitioning into adult life, is a big step, but learning and growing shouldn’t stop when formal education ends or on days not in college.
We are connectED is a modern, vibrant community provision based in Sileby. Designed specifically for autistic adults and individuals who have learning disabilities, we bridge the gap between specialist support and real-world community integration.
We believe that everyone has unique talents to share. Our philosophy is built on reciprocity – meaning the people we support don’t just participate in activities, they actively contribute to their local area.
Backed by the 40-year heritage of Homefield, we offer a safe, trauma-informed environment where ambition is nurtured, progress is celebrated and every day is enjoyed.
Community Learning
A flexible, person-centred daytime activity programme focused on community enterprise, independence skills and having fun.
Community Hubs
Evening and weekend social spaces designed for neurodivergent individuals to drop the mask and connect over shared interests.
Holiday Clubs
Specialist summer break activities designed to maintain routines, build skills and prevent the holiday slide.
The connectED Advantage
There are many community groups out there, but We are connectED is different by design.
- Clinical safety – we are supported by Homefield’s Multidisciplinary Team. Our staff are highly trained in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and trauma-informed practice.
- Evidenced progress – we don’t just fill time. We use the RARPA framework to set personal goals and track achievements, providing clear evidence of ongoing development.
- Real-world focus – we don’t hide away in a building. Our success is measured by how much time our members spend out in the community having fun and breaking down barriers.
- Tailored support – from small 1:8 group facilitation to dedicated 1:1 specialist support, we ensure every individual gets exactly the right level of guidance.
