I am a Criminal Lawyer and have practised for over 20 years. I currently work for the Crown Prosecution Service where I am Head of Rape and Serious Sexual Offence Prosecutions for Leicestershire.
Prior to that, I was the Partner in a Private Defence firm and a Crown Court Advocate. I have extensive experience of representing Autistic individuals and persons with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health Conditions accused of Criminal Offences. I have Employment Law Experience and hope that I can utilise those skills to assist with the Governance of Homefield College.
Why did I become a Trustee?
Having represented young people who were not provided with the support and training that they should have had, I am committed to ensuring that all young people are provided with the opportunities they are entitled to and become happy and productive members of society, where their skills and talents are valued and utilised.
