An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Supported Internship Team. We require a job coach based in Leicestershire (Sileby) with possible travel to other Homefield sites will also be required. This role suits someone who can work autonomously and who gets satisfaction from seeing students progress on to paid employment. If you are looking for a varied role and have good problem solving skills, this is the role for you. It is essential you have your own car and hold a valid driving licence.
As a Job Coach you will join our small and friendly Supported Internship team, working closely with both students and employers to ensure placements are appropriate and students have the necessary training and resources to be able to perform the role independently. You may also support teaching and learning sessions to help students achieve their maximum potential.
You should hold a relevant Level 3 qualification and Level 2 in English and Maths and Autism. Experience of working within various employment sectors or with young adults with learning disabilities is desirable, as is experience of supporting/training others in the workplace. Be able to drive with a full driving licence essential.
Enthusiasm and a willingness to adapt are considered essential skills. We would love to hear from you if you feel that you have the qualities that we require in this role.
