Homefield College have a rewarding teaching role available that will help empower young adults who have learning and / or communication disabilities.

Who are we looking for?

We are in search of tutors who will work as part of the Homefield curriculum team to ensure students achieve ambitious outcomes that prepare them for adult life while developing their employability, communication and social skills.

Maths and English Tutor

What we are looking for: The ideal candidate will have a teaching qualification, and experience of teaching students with additional needs is desirable.

  • Position: This is a permanent role working 22.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. You will be mainly based in Sileby, Leicestershire and the salary ranges from £31,100- £34,785 (pro rata) depending on experience and qualifications.

Your Opportunity: You will support our students to develop their literacy and numeracy skills, whether that be working towards qualifications or specific milestones. This includes delivering bespoke interventions to help our students master key literacy and numeracy skills that will benefit in their daily lives.
